Despite being just a year old Wireblock have made one hell of an impression on the discerning record buyer. Part of the Rubadub and Numbers family they've been behind many of 2008's top musical moments such as the return of Lory D and already seminal Zig-Zag by Rustie. So a little bit later than usual is their planned first release; the imaginatively titled Wireblock 002. Side A features two of Germany's best, the always impressive Alex Cortex and Bogger (if you've not checked out his earlier releases on Digital Gadget/Front then sort it out!). Those of you who loved the Lory D twelve's will love Cortex's 'Reminisce', an electro-techno monster of a tune. On the b-side is a chopped up funk fuelled golden oldie from our mate The Truffle Club and then just as a taster for what's to come is a new track from hotly tipped SF beat merchant Ghosts On Tape. Essential!
