I was in a state of shock last week when one of our distributers rang up last week and asked 'how many of copies of the Burial twelve do you want'? To say we weren't expecting this is a bit of an understatement but here it is a split 12 between the elusive Burial and Four Tet with no artwork, no text and zero release info. I'm not too sure if this is a colab or just a track each by the artist but the Burial track just sounds what you'd expect a Burial/Four Tet tune to sound like. Its driven by Burials patented fuzzy wood blocky garage beats which glide over a dreamy Four Tet style sound scape. On the flip is Four Tet doing a hazy yet lush 4/4 house track which sounds rather quiet to these ears. Limited copies as per usual.
