On the go now for 60-odd years, the Austrian company, AKG, specialises in Microphones and Headphones, as well known in the Live and Touring areas as they are in Pro and Home Studios around the world.

Some of their most well known products are the C414, the C1000 (for a LONG time the only affordable condenser mic for Drum Overheads and Guitar applications) and their K range of Headphones.  The do a lot of specialist Microphones for almost any instrument you care to mention and are well known for their neutral sound and high build quality.
