Old pals of Rubadub, we've been stocking their extremely high quality Drum Machines and Synths for......oh, ages anyway.

Completely independent in sprit and with an incredibly well thought out and fantastic looking range of machines for making Electronic Music, we could bang on about Elektron for ......again, ages!

One thing that separates Elektron form the bigger guys is that they took a risk and produced some truly fantastic hardware at a time when EVERYBODY was going software. The MachineDrum is a great example of the self-confidence they have. Producing a hardware drum machine that cost a grand was seen by many as commercial suicide when it was first released but the nay-sayers hadn't looked at just how well designed this machine was. Every effort had been made to keep the creative flow going at all times and to allow the generation and capture of musical ideas. It's just an enjoyable instrument to play with and you can't really put a price on that.

They were early adopters of the web and have a strong and loyal following on their own user forum. In fact, their success has been down to a slow and steady growth of like minded people who are happy to spread the word about their new favorite company - a bit like us really!
