Going way back into the early 70's Eventide's history is as varied as it is long - they've done everything from Broadcast Delay units (so that when 50 Cent says "F**K" on the One Show Adrian Chile's eyebrows might go up a bit but your Grannie wont hear a thing at home because the Sound Engineer had a chance to Bleep him out) to computer memory chips for early HP Desktop PC;s (when 128kB of RAM cost three grand..and that's kB, not Mega Bytes!!).
They're best known for their uber expensive and high end Multi FX and Harmoniser Rack units used in top studios around the world but more recently the've branched out into very high quality "Stomp Box" units (one for Delay/Echo, one for Phase/Flange and one for Pitch Shifting and Harmonizing) so now more people can enjoy their expertise.
Interesting note - Eventide is "old English" for "Evening Time" - well there you go!
