The ES-3 Mk4 module converts, in a similar manner as the ES-1, control signals from a DAW (e.g. from software like Volta or Silent Way) to control voltages. Unlike the ES-1 it doesn´t use up your audio interface´s analog outputs but it uses the optical output (ADAT Lightpipe). Just connect the ES-3 Mk4 and the audio interface via an optical cable. The connectors of the mk4 version are equipped with multicolor background lightning.
96kHz compatibility: The ES-3 produces 8 outputs as normal when the ADAT interface is operated at 44.1/48kHz. In double speed mode (88.2/96kHz), the ES-3 outputs 4 channels, duplicated across pairs of outputs (ES-3 outputs 1&2 carry ADAT channel 1, outputs 3&4 carry ADAT channel 2 etc.).
Connections
One optical input (ADAT Lightpipe standard); eight CV outputs (1/8" minijack mono)
3U Eurorack module, 4HP wide, 26mm deep current draw: 168mA @ +12V and 30mA @ -12V (198mA total)

Thanks for telling us about the price you've seen and giving us the opportunity to match it. To submit your request now, just hit the button below. (If you have a moment before doing so, we have a few thoughts we'd like to share regarding prices and service elsewhere, so please take a read over the notes below. Thanks!)
At Rubadub we regularly monitor our prices to ensure we're competitive. We know how important your hard-earned cash is and will always strive to provide you with as good (if not better) a deal as anyone else. However... it's also worth saying that in the bigger picture we consider other factors to be just as important as price in the service we offer our customers. As we always say, we're good guys to deal with and that's worth something more than money.
If the price you've seen is on a European website (or one that appears to be from the UK but is actually German or Dutch), please also note that many such sites will charge you in Euros and the £GBP prices shown are, at best, a rough guide. Often the credit card currency exchange fees are not included in the prices, and as such the actual £GBP price you pay is often 3-4% more than the price they show.
They are also supplying you with non-UK stock so it will have European power plugs (costing you more cash to replace the power supply) and will generally have to go back to Germany or Holland if you are unhappy with it or something goes wrong with it.
When you buy from Rubadub you get:
So it's worth considering that even against a crazy price elsewhere, we may be offering the best deal for you overall.
