SUPER-WIDE FREQUENCY SPECTRUM!
Whilst most in-ears utilise multi-driver solutions derived from hearing aids, Sennheiser used a next-generation single dynamic driver for the IE 100 Pro range. Research showed that the frequency range needn’t be split up into sections, thus remaining harmonious as a whole. The sound is well-rounded whilst the frequency spectrum has been noticeably broadened.
There’re no distortions either due to the special diaphragm – rather unlike the more rigid drive principles involved in multi-way drivers – resonating swiftly, even at peak sound levels. Issues with phase and dissonances in the inner ear are also therefore precluded.
