The Ortofon Stylus 20 is a nude elliptical style stylus with a tip radius of 8/18 µm (r/R). The Ortofon Stylus 20 influences the tracking, record wear, and sound quality of the magnet cartridge. A stylus goes through hours of bouncing back and forth on the groove walls in order to record the groove information. Over the time your stylus may get damaged due to continuous wear and tear. And to avoid this, most types of replacement styluses such as Ortofon Stylus 20 are made from the hardest material known - diamond.

The nude elliptical profile of the Ortofon Stylus 20 features a very narrow profile. This comes with an added benefit, which is the ability to track deeper in the groove walls and also respond to higher frequency levels with great precision.
